Gameweek Ends!
Well the next gameweeks deadline is upon us thus is the nature of the start of the footballing season. But first I will look back at the picks performance and my own FPL performance. I got 56 points in FPL and for my picks I recieved, 57 points, roll on next gameweek and the treacherous Gameweek 2 which allows 8 teams missing!

Sunday 16th August 2009.
Well now doesn't that look a lot better!. Evra and Rooney score some much needed points in their 1-0 win over Birmingham and they never really got out of 2nd gear. I expect some bonus points for Rooney at the very least to augment my position but for now I must follow the prospects of Tottenham v Liverpool. I have heavily invested in the away side for this match with Glen Johnson and Dirk Kuyt a key componant of my gameweek. One note of concern for Liverpool fans is the lack of strength in depth in comparason to Spurs, just look at the bench for both teams! Anyway, come on Liverpool!

Saturady 15 August. Premiership Review.
Oh dear...
Well today was not a good start for my Fantasy Football season. A certain Irishman called Stephen Hunt decimated my defensive points earning capacity in Ashley Cole and Petr Cech, while my captain Fat Frank Lampard did very little in midfield. To add insult to injury my gamble on Milijas and Ebanks-Blake failed miserably. Some respite came from the excellent form of Shawcross and Lawrence for Stoke who both scored heavily and its a good thing they did as it could have been a lot more embarrassing. My Predictions for the Premiership This Season!
Well, im going to stick my neck out and make some predictions which shall no doubt be wholly innaccurate come the end of the season and about as redundant as anyone who works in the Construction industry. I may as well put myself out for some ridicule. These predictions will all impact upon your ability to judge Fantasy Football potential and hopefully will assist you in wise player selection and the avoidance of some treacherous fantasy football pitfalls for the year ahead.

It should firstly be noted that the primary game I shall be playing this year shall be the Fantasy Premier League game. This should however also be very useful for anyone playing CKYI, SKY or the Telegraph Fantasy Football Game. I shall always choose a 4-4-2 formation plus subs. Also I shall not pick more than 2 players per team. I will post every gameweek the day before each gameweek starts. The day following each gameweek I shall issue my own points score and show how well (or badly) I did. I hope you find it useful.

Villa are set to hand Premier League debuts to full-back Habib Beye and midfielder Fabian Delph.
Villa's other summer signing, winger Stewart Downing who cost £12million from Middlesbrough, will be sidelined until December by a broken foot. Midfielder Stiliyan Petrov is available after shoulder trouble.
Midfielder Olivier Kapo (knee) is Wigan's only injury absentee as they prepare to launch a new era under Roberto Martinez.
The former Swansea boss could hand debuts to summer signings Jason Scotland and Jordi Gomez, who followed him from the Liberty Stadium.
